DeepMind Releases AlphaFold, a Tool for Predicting Protein Structure in a New Version

IBM Research Creates Novel AI Method to Forecast Protein Function 


IBM Research's creation of a novel artificial intelligence method for predicting protein function has had a major impact on drug discovery. Based on graph neural networks, this method—known as ProtNet—is highly accurate in predicting how proteins would function. 


By giving researchers a quicker and more accurate way to find possible therapeutic targets, ProtNet may hasten the creation of novel medications and treatments.

The Exynos AI processor from Samsung Electronics is a step farther in the company's advancement of AI. An embedded AI accelerator in this cutting-edge microprocessor operates up to 30 times quicker than AI accelerators from earlier generations. 


The Exynos AI processor is intended to power the upcoming generation of laptops and smartphones that use AI. It will make it possible for these gadgets to execute AI-based apps more quickly and give users a more tailored and responsive experience.
